Hello SDNers,
I participated in a program in high school that allowed for me to graduate with my high school diploma and AA degree simultaneously. At the CC, I took 2 writing courses, 1 literature course, 2 humanities courses and numerous social science courses. As a result, I haven't been required to take many non-science courses at my university. The only non-science courses I completed were 2 economics and 2 chemical engineering courses during freshman year. I am now a junior planning on applying during this upcoming cycle. Should i be concerned about my lack of non science credit at a university?
Also, I have 3 quality LORs from science faculty, 1 LOR from an MD and 1 LOR from a pharmacist I've been a technician for since 2010. Need I be concerned about a lack of a LOR from a non science professor?
Note: I realize I should have taken more humanities and english courses over the last couple years. However, I started out as a chemical engineering major and didn't make the switch to biochemistry until midway through my sophomore year.
Thanks for any help or advice in advance!
