Hi,
I'm 27.
I have a degree in Economics with 3.9 GPA.
I had some personal problems and couldn't clear out my premeds.
Where should I take my premeds in order to have a good chance?
Options:
post bac
2nd bac
Community college
or may be there's a 1-year Masters program which would be a better choice?
MPH?

And is it too late for me?

It's never too late if this is what you want to do!

If you haven't finished the pre-reqs, or taken the MCAT, then I don't thinki you qualify for one of the special MS programs. You could knock those basics out at a formal post-bacc or at you state school.

If you only have to do 1 or 2 classes, the you could do that over the summer (second session) or during the fall, take the MCAT in April 05. Your undergrad GPA is strong, so you might not need an MS or MPH if you ace the pre-reqs.

Also, when you do apply to med school, you could either start working on an MS/MPH simultaneously or apply to a special MS program in the event that you don't get into med school.

And don't forget to get clinical experience! Volunteer, shadow, work as an EMT or CNA. Get into the hospital. As a non-traditional, you don't have the luxury of not getting that experience to show them that you're serious about this career change. HTH!
