Normal MCAT Scores

I am curious as to what a normal or average MCAT score is. For example for the SATs its something like 1000. Is it like 27 or 28?

i think the average is slightly below what you stated...maybe around a 25?

any other input on this? i recently read something from the aamc website, but now i can't find that information.

The national average for all test takers is ~24. The average MCAT for an accepted applicant is ~30.

The MCAT average for the most recent adminstration (04/03) was 24.8 with a st.dev. of 6.3.
