Quick chemistry clarification:
The van't Hoff factor for Ba(OH)₂ is i = 3, right? This is only used for colligative properties?
But the normality of Ba(OH)₂ is 2, because when ionized, two OH- ions are present and the Ba is just a spectator?
For an acid like H₂SO₄, is the normality again 2 because when completely ionized there are 2 H+ ions present?
