the answer is 0.16M.
I am not sure how it's 0.16M.
I used N1V1 = N2V2.

It's a neutralization question.

a=acid
b=base
C=concentration
V=volume

(Ca)(Va)=(Cb)(Vb)

The acid has 3 moles of protons to react and the base has 2 moles of OH-. So the equation is (.025L)(3)(Ma) = (.03L)(2)(.2M) and just solve for molarity of the acid.

Remember that N, normality is the number of H+ or OH- that can react in the reaction.

How do we know which H dissociate and not?

I'm not 100% on this but its always worked so far but the way the molecular formula is written the H3C6H5O7 are able to dissociate because they are on the outside of the formula. while the H5 are on the inside or apart of the molecule..this is a really crappy explanation so im hoping someone else explains this better than i did.
