Hi there,

Could someone tell me if Northwestern is rolling or non rolling? I am thinking of applying...but only if its non rolling, or they offer a portion of the seats every so often.

Thanks!

Northwestern has two accept dates. One in Nov and another one in March. The bulk of the offers are made in March I believe.

I am very interested in hearing why you are deciding to apply to a certain school based on what process they use to admit people. You should be applying to schools that you would like to go to medical school at... I go to NU and quite honestly, I wouldn't want you here next year just because you decided that you like our admissions process. If you are questioning applying to a school because of an admissions process then you don't belong at that school to begin with.

Hi there,

I am sorry...I didnt mean my post to come across like that. I completed my amcas app in august...and lately...I have become interested in the northwestern program...but I did not designate it in my inital application...

If Northwestern is a rolling process, then I would be hesitant to spend more money, as my file may not stand a decent chance. For example, a school such as MCW offered most of the seats in the class to the those applicants who had interviewed before January last year (as said by the Admissions officer).

I have not chosen my schools based on the process, but rather their program and what they had to offer me as a student. I am doing the same for Northwestern. Since it is getting late now to apply though, and my stats are average, I dont want to just throw my money.
