Hi
I am currently locuming as a surgical registrar in the UK having completed my foundation and core surgical training there. Originally I attained my medical degree from the Czech Republic and am an EU citizen (Portuguese). I currently want to move to Norway but besides knowing I have to pass the Bergen test I have no information on how to get into the surgical training scheme in Norway. I plan to enrol in one of the Norwegian universities and finish the 3 parts. I would be really grateful if some one could provide some insight into the surgical training.
I want to leave the UK as I am not keen on continuing my surgical training in their run-through program and am looking to move to greener pastures as I do not believe the NHS is sustainable.
Any advice would be appreciated.
