Not doing too well on UWORLD IM

Basically I don't feel very confident about uworld IM and I feel like half of the time even when I can identify what's going on I'm unsure about how to approach it methodically. A lot of the time I'm basically answering questions on how I have seen them done in real life, ex U/As for urinary complaints, but apparently only needing them for complicated cystitis.

I'm using OME mostly, but I feel like it's a bit distressing to be getting like 10% below average on the IM questions.

Like should I be supplementing with Step up to medicine? First Aid?

When are you taking Step 2?

I’m doing UW IM questions as well right now and am scoring average to below average. I’m not taking Step 2 until the middle of June though, so I’d say it’s to be expected to score in that range for your first pass when you’re a at least a couple of months away from taking Step 2.

If you’re taking Step 2 in less than a month, then I’d be more concerned.

shelf for now. step 2 in 6 months. I'm doing a bit better.

but like still want to get back to my above averageness that I had when I did step 1 haha
