Hey guys
So im starting my last year in sept (at a canadian school), and I would have completed all the requirements of my program by the end of first semester so I have a lot of room for electives. I kinda (well... not kinda lol, i really did) messed up in some of the pre reqs way back in first yr, and I was wondering if it would be worth it to retake some of those classes in my last semster of school.
Would it look bad that I have re taken some classes (probably 3) and should I just stick with the crappy mark that I have, or would re taking them show that I really want it and be beneficial?
Or lastly I was just wondering if the best option would be to take a bunch of upper yr science classes (instead of easy electives) and just kill those to prove I am capable, instead of retaking anything at all.
Any input would be really helpful
Thank you!!

If you have the time and you're confident that by retaking the class you can improve your grades, I suggest you do it, because as you mentioned they would like to see that you have put in the extra effort to improve your situation.
I don't think electives would strengthen your application much, so again, if you have the time and the confidence that you can take bunch of upper division science classes and rock them, it would be a good idea to do it. You'll end up increasing your science GPA, which will in turn strengthen your application.

Good Luck👍
