I will be taking PTCB in 3 hours and am taking practice exams in Reifman. One of the Amazon reviewers was stating that if I score 75%+ then I wouldn't have any trouble passing the test, but I have been scoring 72.5% and 72%. Reifman's practice exams have a lot of medication questions, and I miss them, because I only memorized generic names though I answer correctly on math, conversion, and policies questions.

If my score does not improve, I am thinking about not showing up at the testing center to avoid failing the test, because not passing will prevent me from taking it again for 60 days. Though I would lose the money, I would save 2 months of time. Is this feasible?

I personally would not let what one amazon reviewer said dictate whether or not I would do something, but if you truly are not confident, it's your call. Will you be "better prepared" in less than 2 months? If not, I'd still take the test for the experience of seeing what the exam is like and retake in 2 months. And there still is the chance that you might pass this time around.

Pfft, passing is passing, whether you did it with 1 extra point or whether you passed with flying colors, this is one test where it really really doesn't matter, I promise. I think the guy on Amazon was trying to say that you'd certainly pass if you're able to score 75%, not that you won't pass if you can't.

It's a moot point now, since the test was on Saturday, but I would have taken it anyway.

You should just take the exam, it's honestly not that hard. It's mostly about calculations anyways, which involves very simple math (at least when I took it).
