Not sure how to answer "gap year" secondary question

So I've seen that quite a few secondaries ask about what you will be doing from now until June 2013. The short answer is that I don't really know what i will be doing. I'm currently volunteering at a lab while looking for a paying job (any - research, tutoring, etc) because I need to support myself. I may want to do some more clinical volunteering but again I don't really know yet. I just feel like this response is not good enough..

Why is it not good enough? Jobs are hard to come by. Just be honest
