Hi,
I am not taking the DAT until after July 1. I already paid ADA $225, and only requested that 5 schools receive my scores (free).
Should/do I need to pay the additional $60 (total of 285) in order to have my scores sent to any number of schools for free? I heard that paying this extra $60 (or $285) will allow you to send your DAT score to any amount of schools for free, so you do not need to pay $25 per school anymore?? Is this true?
I am very confused though, if anything, what was the point of the fee increase then?
Any feedback?
Thanks

I would say pay the extra fee, don't limit yourself to just 5 schools. If you got rejected to those 5 schools and your 6th school would accept you, would you still go? Unless you have steller stats then you can have your pickings of which schools to get into, if not don't be picky and apply to many as possible so your chances are higher. Also if your stats are not steller, I would say do a post-bacc and get involved in more community services to increase your chances for next year. Just be smart with your decision, if you know your stats aren't great, the admissions will probably think the same so it's better to save your money, improve and try again the next year.

Lol...no offense...the above post seems a little bit random
