Hello all,

In the MCAT testing essentials, it says "You will be provided with a noteboard booklet for note-taking during any timed sections of the exam and during breaks while you are at your workstation."

Does that mean we're allowed to use our noteboards during the break?

Thanks!

In between each section of the exam, you are alotted a timed break. You may use that time as you wish.

I personally use the time to get a bite of an energy bar or eat a banana, and have some gatorade and water, and of course use the restroom. Nothing worse than having to pee during a section.

To answer your question directly, let me clarify something. The *noteboard booklet* they refer to is nothing more than scratch paper. It stays in the exam room at all times.

Yes, you can use your noteboard booklet during the break, but only if you are seated at your testing station at that time.
