I received an accpetance letter from NOVA.
I am writing this to ask a question regarding my pre-requisite courses. I have completed all of my pre-requisite courses EXCEPT for microbiology. During the academic update period, I indicate that I WILL take a spring semester microbiology course at a nearby community college . However, in the acceptance letter, the admission committee did NOT require me to take microbiology class. I have the following questions
Because I am a returning student (I graduated from University last year with an economics major), I dont have priority in registering and the class is already full. Consequently, I am worried that I will not be able to add the class.

- Am I required to take a microbiology class before matriculation?
- Even though the committee did not require me to take microbiology, should I take the class because it is a pre-requisite course?
