Hey guys
I know these books have been talked about alot. But does anyone have the exact title, author, ISBN number, etc? I need to order it and I don't know the name besides NOVA and that doesn't help much.😀
Thanks.

this was mine, the physics book. i loved it. reviewed all the chapters and did the questions. i feel much more confident about my grasp of the physics stuff with this book than i ever did with EK. eons better, i think.

  • Paperback: 444 pages
  • Publisher: Nova Press (June 6, 2005)
  • Language: English
  • ISBN-10: 1889057339
  • ISBN-13: 978-1889057330

I keep hearing about the NOVA physics. Is it really that good?

I really like it because it combines the content of TPR with some of the humor of Ek. My main problem with EK was that the physics book left me feeling lacking even after I had done everything in the book - practice and section tests. I used a combination of TPR, EK and Nova for my MCAT review. I liked EK for its graphs and condensed format. I felt that using Nova and TPR as my main guide as I completed my review presented a more complete package of the necessary concepts for the PS section. Nova does an equal amount of conceptual and hard-math in its content and that helped me a lot with estimating correct answers on the AAMC practice tests.

I have the Nova Physics Book. It's good, but for the physics section of the MCAT stick to concepts! Problem solving is key. However, I like the Examkrackers physics book, simple and concise and all the formulas you need to succeed on the test! Stick to concepts and you will do fine 🙂

Is this the 1001 physics book by EK or which one? I've seen the grey one with green stripe (MCAT complete or something like that).....I keep hearing about EK prep books. But not sure which to get.
