I will be interviewing at Nova at the end of April.

I am hoping that some of you who have interviewed/been accepted there could give me advice or any other useful information.

I would really appreciate it! THANKS! 😀

....also does anyone know if there are still spots left or if I will be interviewing for a waitlist spot??

Hey DOrunner11,

First off, NOVA is an absolutely wonderful school. The facilities are amazing, and the school is beautiful. And who can beat the FL location and weather?!? 😉

The interview is not a very stressful one. I had 4 faculty members interview me: a DO, an MD, Dr. Terry, and another prof. They asked pretty conversational questions (nothing too hard). They just want to get to know you better. I didn't get any hypothetical situations or any ethical questions. I heard that some applicants got asked about a low score on a section/s of the MCAT or a low grade or why they didn't get in the previous year if they are reapplying. But other than that, nothing too extraordinary. They aren't there to screw you over!!!!!! All of the people there (the faculty and students) are friendly and make you very comfortable and welcome.

Good luck on your interview. 🙂

PS: I'm not sure if at this point you are interviewing for the waitlist or not. Just keep in mind that if they weren't interested in you, they wouldn't be interviewing you at all, so be optimistic!
