NOVA or TPR physics?

Which one of these would be the most beneficial for those who have used both?

Anybody have any suggestions on these two materials?

Physics is really my only weak spot. I know the other sciences well and the verbal is not too bad. Would it be a complete waste of time to study both materials and do the TPR Science Workbook? Is that overkill or just more to the good if you have the time?

Nova...you can also go on amazon.com and read the reviews if it will hep you decide. But for me Nova was also a lot of hep when i was studying for my class exams.

Thanks. I did order the book last week because of the outstanding reviews and comments on here. I was also curious as to whether or not I should read through the TPR Physics as well or would that be too much. I imagine I need to do some practice problems in addition to using NOVA either from the TPR Science workbook or EK 101 Physics.

the TPR physics review is quite thorough and I used the HYperlearning books. if you are going to rely on Nova for your main review, I would use the TPR only as a supplement to improve understanding on specific topics that you might not have understood as well through your review with the Nova book. Take practice exams after every chapter to make sure you understood the concepts you just studied. I really like how TPR inserts questions about the concepts of the material within the chapters because it forced me to throw around different ways of understanding a physics problem.

I used TPR hyperlearning... My physics was bad in high school. In college, it's ok. But I knew that I need to self-study... So I studied Hyperlearning for nearly 2 months... my score started with 8 and I got 14 on the test day.
If you are someone who is good at self-studying... go for TPR... make ur own notes, practice, it's doable...

Wow, amazing score! I would be happy with a 10 in PS. What source did you do your practice problems from, TPR Science Workbook? I think I am good at self-study. I usually do not pay much attention in class when I go and I just teach the concepts to myself. Also, was that two months solely focused on Physics? Thanks,

I found the TPR and Kaplan Physics much easier than the Berkeley Review questions which are all passage based. For TPR and Kaplan I thought the questions were more plug and chug once I remembered which equation to use. Whereas in Berkeley Review, there was little bit more thinking about what was going on and more algebraic manipulations of equation(s)
