I'm waiting too, and hoping they will let us know today or tmrw, but I checked predents from last year and it looks like second round didn't go out until the 21st. Looks like they have to wait for all the deposits from first rounders to get in
 
Just got the call from Dr. Lippman! My first acceptance- I am so excited/relieved/happy...it has been a long time coming! And just so you all know, calling/emailing the school and asking nicely about your status, or updating them about anything, is a very important part of making yourself relevant in their minds. Good luck to everyone waiting to hear!

I interviewed on Dec. 16th with Dr. Lippman. I checked my AADSAS status and it still says "invited for interview". Did you get an AADSAS update??
 
omg getting very nervous right now.. after hearing victoria got the phone call..
 
I haven't heard anything from nova yet either. I interviewed in early october and was put on the waitlist on dec.1. I called two days ago and they told me that the second round would go out around early feb....so stay hopeful! please let me know if anyone else hears anything.
 
i just called Nova and the lady told me that call her back next week.

she said they are reranking applicants. so..

we just need to hang in there for now..
 
Got a call from Dr. Lippman at 10:30 Eastern. Interviewed with him Nov. 18th after the initial acceptances had already been decided upon (Dr. Lippman said they decided a week or so before my interview date). My AADSAS never changed from "invited for interview" even though when I called in early January, they told me I was essentially waitlisted.

yeah last year it was a week after deposits to rank stuff as well....Victoria was probably at the top of the list and a waitlister so those they may give out more regularly

do they call only the people who get accepted ???

If I don't get a phone call from Nova today, does it mean I am rejected ??

got a call from him as well. Got accepted.. sooooooooooooooo happyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy😀 he said my letter will be out.
 
Dr. Lippman left a message this morning but it went to voicemail when I called him back.

There will be more acceptances. Just because you did not receive a phone call today, does not mean you will not get in. Call admissions next week as an above poster was instructed to do..
 
congrats on your acceptances! hmm well i'm waiting for a phone call too, hopefully :S

btw, who are you guys phoning to get through to admissions?? all i've been getting for the past week are voicemails....

I was a post-December interview. My status was "waitlisted" in December and I was accepted Jan 15th.

Mine never changed from "invited for interview" pre-acceptance.

Yes, mine had said Wait Listed since Dec. 1st- still does, actually.

I interviewed Nov 20th (we were told the dec 1st acceptances were already decided by then)...I got a phone call from Dr. Lippman too! Late (after 5pm) on the 15th and a friend of mine did also! Nothing on AADSAS has changed yet. It originally said Invited for Interview & was changed to Waitlisted on Dec 24th. I'm so relieved - it's my frist acceptance! whoooo...😉

jjw822, The best thing to do is speak with them periodically and let them know you are still interested and update them with periodic interest. They utilize the waitlist until the first day of orientation. Because they are private, there is usually a fair amount of movement. Good Luck
 
Accepted Jan 15th. My status never changed from "invited for interview".

Hey,
Did you ask about your application status over the phone? Did they say directly that you are on the waitlist at this point? Actually, I called them last week, and a lady said they didn't make any decision regarding my application yet and I was told that I needed to wait until early Feb in order to hear any decision. And I emailed them yesterday, but I didn't get any reponse from them yet. And my AADSAS status still says "invited for interview". Any thoughts??
 
My interview was on Dec 18th ...... Got the call on Jan 15...🙂

Has anyone received an acceptance package from Nova yet? I am getting anxious without ANY type of confirmation of acceptance...wanna make sure it wasn't a dream hahah
 
hey victoria! I was just accepted about a week ago and I live in Florida also, but have not received a packet yet either. I'm glad you posted about this because I was getting slightly concerned as well!
