I just got rejected from VCU for Early decision deadline. Therefore, I'm beginning to look for other schools. I'm thinking of applying to NOVA Southeastern U. I'm beginning to research more about the school. Anyone knows anothing about this school?

Thanks!

I'm applying there as well. I've read their material, and their program seems pretty good and positive. Go to their website, and you can sign up to receive a personalized brochure. It seems like they kind of favor clinical pharmacy in their curriculum. It's a private school. That's all that I can think to tell you right now. Just go to the website and check it out. 🙂

I wanted to apply to Nova too.. but they require a letter of rec. from a pharmacist. 🙁

Not necessarily.

Nova requires 3 letters a recommedation, and these are the PHARMCAS guidelines for Nova's LOR requirement verbatim:

REQUIRED:
Science Professor
Second Science Professor
Liberal Arts Professor
NOT ACCEPTED:
Friend
Family Member
CONDITIONALLY REQUIRED:
Pharmacist

I'm not sure what conditionally required means, but I don't think it means you have to have a rec from a pharmacist. I check the NSU website, and I didn't see anything about LORs on there. But I'd advise you to research this issue yourself if you're really interested in applying there.

You have to have 3 LOR's. Two from a science professor and one from a liberal arts professor. A LOR from a Pharmacist can replace one from a professor. You do not have to have a recommendation from a pharmacist. 😛
