Hello, well I guess I am still pre-dental - and maybe I'm not supposed to post here yet but I wanted to get some oppinions of some current students at Nova.

1) What do you think, is it going to be hard to finish your requirements at Nova?
At my interview, a couple of D-4s told me that some people have a hard time finishing all of the requirements... Is this common, or are they just spending too much time on the greens or at the beach?

2) Do most of the married students buy a home or do they rent? I know prices of homes have gone way up, but do you think it would still possible to buy a home in an area somewhat close to the school.? What areas should I be looking into, Davie, Plantation, Sunrise, Hollywood?

3) Are you happy with your choice? I have always wanted to go to NOVA, and I am 99% sure that is where I will choose. I am just wondering if you could do it all over again, would you still choose Nova???

Thanks for all of your input! I am so happy to be accepted to such a great school! Thanks again!

This really depends on the luck of your patients that you receive. Some of my classmates are already finished with all of their graduation requirement, then you have classmates like me who is a little behind. But I do have everything I need to graduate, it's just matter of getting them done. Keep in mind, I took close to 5 months off of my own clinic time to rotate off campus for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery externship. So for me to have all that time off and still "kind of" on track, that's pretty amazing. About the golfing and sun-tanning....we do spend our share doing that, but we all work hard.

You'll get both. But I would suggest you buy. If I had to do it all over again, then I would definitely buy. There are a lot of us renting though. I would look in Plantation, it's cheaper and it's pretty close. Davie is too expensive, you can't even find a decent place for $150K, most places will be $220K and up.

I freaking love NOVA! If I had to do it all over again, I would again pick NOVA! Great family setting and your kids will have a blast!

Congrats in getting in and choose to be part of the NSU family. You will love it here and wouldn't regret it!
