Nova students, how long does it take?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering how long it took you guys to get your official welcome packet. I paid my deposit fee and sent my letter to reserve my seat and i confirmed that nova received all of it last week, so i was wondering when they will send me more documents?? I just want to make sure my seat is officially reserved.

I sent in my letter and money in december... and the first thing i got from them was last friday and it was only the residency forms. Not sure what they're waiting for. USC has sent me more than that I didn't send them any money

I just received my residency forms today..... and nothing else from nova.... I emailed Akisha and she said that they haven't even set the date for orientation yet...... I do know that classes start on Aug 4th........ but other than that i am completely clueless..... I thought they would give us a little more help finding housing too.....especially since i am from across the country

Umm...probably not. Unless of course there is some connection to florida, like you have a spouse that lives in florida or you are dependent upon someone who lives in florida, i.e. your parents.

Nah..... I am not trying to claim residency....... it doesn't really matter anyway...... the military is paying for it anyway

so how did you guys make sure you had a seat reserved after you sent in your deposit? I just want to be sure my seat is really reserved because i see how many people are waiting for a seat and i don't want any problems with it.

If you are able to create your NSU ID, then you can log into WebStar and view your financial account and confirm that your deposit has been received. Alternatively, you can email Su-Ann Zarrett or Alexandra Lichtman to confirm this as well.

Thanks! I did check my webstar and they did receive my initial deposit, so that's enough confirmation to know my seat is reserved right?

I'm assuming that the receipt of your deposit would be enough to confirm your seat reservation.

I emailed Su-Ann Zarrett to confirm because I wasn't able to check WebStar at the time.

No FAFSA for me - I don't qualify.
