nova vs BR books

The only good Nova book is Nova Physics. Between BR Physics and Nova Physics, most prefer BR Physics, but either book is good. I think Nova should focus more on passage practice instead of splitting between passages and discretes.

i used nova physics for extra practice. practice problems are decent...but tbr physics are 10x better.

Would you suggest getting the BR books
and for the verbal as iam struggling I bought today the ivyhallreview do you think that hopeful ?
thanks a lot

Do you guys think NOVA would be better for content review? I've heard that NOVA > TBR in terms of content but as far as practice problems go TBR > NOVA.

I went through Nova completely and am now through 1 section of TBR Physics. I think the first half of the book is amazing, including the problems, especially if you don't feel that strong in Physics. Once I got to Torque, I kept understanding the Chapters, but the questions were extremely confusing with poor explanations.

I would say that if you have time, you should read through Nova physics, and try to understand everything they're saying. Then, go through TBR more quickly while doing their passages. If you already feel okay about physics, just do TBR. Good luck!

Was this true for most of the problems after Torque?

Yep. I got lost and more confused when i got to that section. i thought it was me. It could be, i was in my burn out phase. All in all, i felt nova was a good source in understanding the concepts. I think it was the torque chapter, the other other chapters were fine.

I think it was mostly just the torque chapter and one other chapter I can't really remember. The rest were really good for solidifying the conceptual framework.
