I was surprised that Middle Eastern/North African wasn't on there before. But then again, I never really bothered to pay attention.

I was surprised that Middle Eastern/North African wasn't on there before. But then again, I never really bothered to pay attention.

It wasn't, and there was controversy about including it for the 2020 Census.
