hey this...
I recieved the same emails awhile ago and had the same question. I call and spoke with someone there who confirmed that I am complete and I was pending an interview decision.
I would assume the same is true for you, but it doesn't hurt to call or shoot them an email.
Hope this helps! Good luck to you.:luck:

I had the same question, and I called them a few times to make sure that I was complete, and it worked out well.

Maybe I should call today too. They're not closed for the whole week are they? I received an e-mail four weeks ago that my application was "currently being reviewed" and nothing since.

I started tracking my application (calling/emailing admissions) as soon as I turned in the secondary. It took about a week or so of calling and hearing conflicting answers about certain parts being missing before I was finally complete. I was offered an interview soon there after...within the next week.

The good thing is, I know they have everything. The bad thing is they probably don't like my overall GPA or my MCAT score. I just wish I knew where I stood at this point.

same 🙁 im going to give them a call in about 15 mins..

Do you mind sharing your stats? It sounds like you and I are in the same boat. Please let me know if you find out anything.

Cum 3.19
can't remember non-science but I think it's closer to a 3.0
MCAT 22O (9VR/6PS/7BS)

allright.. off to phone them.. if i hear anything interesting i'll report back.. if not, i'll report back in a few hours because im going to go eat lunch instead!

In case you applied at AZCOM, I just called and they will give you your status over the phone. Unfortunately I'm on a preinterview waitlist but I will definitely be sending a letter of interest.

^^Thanks! I will definitely give AZCOM a call in a week or two then.. I just sent my app out this week, so I will give them some time! And.. I didn't talk to NSU.. while I was on the line with the voicemail operator thing my phone died (at least it didn't die while i was talking to someone, now THAT would be bad!).. I am at school right now so I cant recharge.. I'll be home around 3:30cst.. I am hoping that NSU will still be open as i know they run on eastern time..

ps. sorry to hear about your pre-interview waitlist thing.. 🙁 im pretty sure im on a couple of those.. i'll be calling around next week to find out whats going on everywhere

well i called and nobody was home 🙁 I left a message giving my name and number as well as my question (am i complete).. I hope that is enough information for them to return my call.. when i hung up i thought oh no do they need my aacomas number? i hope not, otherwise i'll call again next week.

So I called and spoke with someone who told me my file is complete, which I was also told 4 weeks ago. He also told me my file is "currently under review" which it was also 4 weeks ago. I'm keeping track of when I call which schools so I can call in another three weeks. 😀

In my case, I turned in all my stuff for the NSU application on September 12th and was emailed an invite for scheduling an interview the following week. The school never does send you an email stating "THAT YOUR FILE IS COMPLETE" like the other universities b/c I never got one, but maybe it was just me.

The good thing is that the school is really prompt about letting you know that you are accepted. Having talked with others who interviewed with me on that day, it seems like almost everybody who interviewed got in. I interviewed on 10/25 and heard back on with a phone call on Nov 7th.

Just keep those fingers crossed.

However, I think that you can expect the turn around times for interview notifications to be much slower until the December 14 deadline passes b/c a lot of the schools are waiting to see how many people accept or decline their offers.

Be wary though b/c if you do have any potential holes (e.g. low grades or lack of ECs) in your application, they will ask you to explain them during the interview. Certain students from my interview group said they felt like they were interrogated and probed about their application during the interview while others said it was the most stress-free interview that they had. Just prepare for the best and worst when going there.
