i know i read some negative things, but the location is very ideal for me.

Do you speak Spanish?

Are you willing to learn the South Floridian style of practicing medicine while keeping in mind that it is not how 95% of the country practices? After seeing the hospitals there I cannot believe the state is considered a retirement state.

Can you critically think while carrying an overwhelming caseload?

Are your parents rich, or are you absolutely sure you can match ortho/derm? Cause otherwise a 400k salary equates to about 240k take home and if you're looking at 500-600k of debt then you're in for a wild ride.
