Are you willing to learn the South Floridian style of practicing medicine while keeping in mind that it is not how 95% of the country practices? After seeing the hospitals there I cannot believe the state is considered a retirement state.

Are your parents rich, or are you absolutely sure you can match ortho/derm? Cause otherwise a 400k salary equates to about 240k take home and if you're looking at 500-600k of debt then you're in for a wild ride.
