I applied in November & still haven't heard anything, with comparable stats to other people w/ interviews so far lol they seem to be a little slow

Just spoke with them.. the MOT class isn't full yet. They are still reviewing applications and sending out interview requests. She basically hinted that they are a little slow this year lol
 
Has anyone applied for on-campus graduate housing? I am apprehensive about applying and paying $500 until I know for sure that I will be attending NSU, but I don't want to wait too long and not have a room either.

I've chosen to pursue the mot for now. I was really interested in the otd as I was under the impression that I would be able to hold a full time job while in school. After speaking with a current student, I discovered that I wouldn't be able to do that. An extra year of tuition to not make anymore when you graduate wasn't appealing to me. I'm hoping that I can get a hospital or somewhere to pay for an otd later life.

I also got accepted to both the MOT and OTD and its driving me crazy trying to make a decision. You chose MOT for work related reasons only?

That, along with the fact that the OTD would be almost 100k alone vs. the MOT tuition. It just wasn't a realistic option for me.

I'm applying! The 2016-2017 form wasn't available yet though when I checked last.
 
Hello incoming students/ hopeful incoming students! I'm in my first year at Nova in the MOT program and I would love to answer any of your questions. Also my roommate and I are looking for a roommate or two if anyone is interested. Yo can email me at [email protected]. P.S. for those of you who are waiting be patient I didn't get accepted till 10 weeks after my interview.

So many questions! I guess my first would be what a typical day for a level 1 student is like. And also are the people nice, or kind of cliquey?

Hi! So I know orientation starts on May 23rd, but has anyone recieved any info on when the summer session ends? And then when does the fall semester begin again?

I received an update email from Keatta yesterday that said I was in a batch of applicants that would be receiving a decision by Feb 1st. She said if accepted I would receive an email by that date, or a rejection postal letter around that date. I sent my video interview in Nov. 7.
 
Hi guys! I applied to NSU and submitted my interview in October, I received my admissions decision in December! (I was a hold candidate for now, I did not have all my pre-req completed) My letter said admission decisions would be no later than March 15th! Good luck to you guys! I am really keeping my fingers crossed.

Hey, I received an email 1/11/17 to do a personal essay and I have to submit no later than 1/16/17. I think it's on short notice considering you did yours Nov 1 but do you know how many students they accept?
 
Hi all! I submitted my video essay during the first week in October and received my acceptance on December 1st! I had to do my video essay on very short notice too, (within like 4 days) which seems to be common among other people I talked to. Wishing you all the best of luck with your Feb decisions! 🙂

Yes, we only get a few days to submit the video essay!
 
I too received an email that I would find out by Feb 1st but have not heard back yet. Has anyone that got that email received an answer? If we do not get admitted will we be finding out by mail instead?

I haven't heard back either and it's been a month since my video interview. The waiting game is killing me :whistle:. Does anyone know how much tuition is for 1 year (summer, fall and spring)? I read 29,290 but it doesn't say for 1 year or per semester.

Hey,
Just wondering if you are still a hold candidate? I also do not have all the pre-reqs completed, how many do you still have? Hoping that it isn't a deal breaker!

Yes I am still on hold! I finished my pre-req in December so they are all completed now. I needed Physics & lab, as well as a biology lab. I am not sure if my pre-req are what determined them to put me on hold however, I also have low GRE scores so that has deducted points towards my application I have been told.

Ohhh ok, yeah my GRE was not that great either. Fingers crossed!!

Ahhhhh okay thanks! I was placed on high hold and I was wondering if anyone knew how much movement the high hold list usually got

The tuition comes out to like $75,000 for the entire program. That's what Keatta mentioned at the Backstage pass
