How are you going to avoid this? Srs
Would loperamide help? Anybody try that before?
I don't know what would be worse, going poop multiple times or taking one seriously constipated poop! Ok I've had my fun in this thread, time to move on back to studying 😛

my roommate shat like 4 times while we were taking step 1 together. He took a break after pretty much every block because he needed to keep ****ting.
...he ate a lot of beans or something the week leading up to the test.
Lmfao. That was one of my biggest fears going into the test. Luckily, my adrenaline was high and the sphincters were squeezed shut.
But on a more serious note, it might be wise to not stuff yourself the day before or morning off. Eat healthy and wisely, just not too much.
I disagree; the day before should consist of large quantities of protein and complex carbohydrates so that your brain has plenty of energy. Beans are a simple way to get both. The day of you should eat a cereal rich in fiber in the morning and drink large quantities of coffee (or energy drinks, just get that caffeine!) for immediate energy. Finally, make sure you smoke cigarettes or dip tobacco right before starting the test because the nicotine helps to stimulate memory (don't worry, a few cigs in your life won't cause cancer).

TAKE BREAKS for godssake you'll need them more than for just bathroom breaks. You'll have a whole hour to split throughout the day. I only skipped one potential break the whole time and still had minutes to spare. Your brain will hurt more than your bowels so utilize the gift of breaks!
I was talking to a couple of DO students early in the AM who were taking COMLEX the same day. They HAVE to go through four blocks and then are allowed to take a short lunch break before four more![]()
We get a break every 2 blocks...if they told you otherwise they were being d'bags who needed attention. But yeah, I had to train my bladder and forgo coffee in favor of caffeine pills for the COMLEX.
