:) Do the number of attempts for NBDE Part-1 to get a satisfactory score affect chances of getting into IDP/Advanced Standing? Do the Recruiting Committee of the Dental Schools have access to or look at the scores of the previous attempts of Part-1? and will it alter chances of getting admitted into the IDP or Advnaced standing DDS/DMD?

hi
i dont think the number of attempts matters as long as u have improved on ur scores.in fact the interviewers appreciate ur effort to improve.
i hope this helps. :)

if u take ur part1 and thn part2. thn decide to improve ur part1 it will show on ur records, bcoz the part2 scores r given with ur first part1 score sheet. if u take part1 and thn again repeat it without taking part2 , it wont show. u can take part2 after ur 2nd part1
ur part2 thn will be recorded with ur most recent part1 score.
any1 correct me if i am wrong.
but believe me, i took my part2 after my first part1, so i had to send both my part1 scores to schools. it doesnt matter, they dont hold it against u. all they see is improvement
its not as if u repeat part1 bcoz u failed to pass part1 in the first place.
