Number of hours shadowing

Is 200 hours of shadowing sufficient? I am planning to do more shadowing after I submit my dental application but this is all I have currently.

That is more than enough. As a matter of fact, you should probably do something else other than shadowing. I.E: volunteering.

Doesn't have to be dental volunteering. Just needs to be something that shows that you are involved in and care about your community; after all, that's what being a dentist is all about!

Dude you're screwed. You need at least 3000 to 4000 hours of shadowing to show that you're serious about dentistry. Dont forget to read the fine lines.

I heard some schools require 5000 minimum... @DentalDoge are the schools that want 3000-4000 even accredited? shame on them that's low
