Number of NBDE Part 1 attempts in Pass/Fail pattern

Hi All,
i would like to know if someone fails in this new pass fail pattern and he/she sits for it again so would it affect the application? or its just pass and fail and the number of attempts wont count.? please help

If you fail it, and re-take it... that attempt will be on your report permanently. This report will show either pass or fail and the number of attempts. I'd say yes, it affects your chances. However this isn't the only criteria the board looks at. Good luck!
