Would having numerous research lab experiences be deemed as unnecessary or do Adcoms not mind it? For example, one lab the summer prior to matriculation to college, another lab during college semesters, and yet another one for the summer?

Usually, I would prefer to have only 1-2 solid experiences spanning my undergrad years but due to my current situation, it would be very difficult to travel/commute to the location to stay in the same lab.

If I do manage to get a publication out, would adcoms mind the brevity and inconsistency of some lab experiences?

Like you said, generally duration is a positive attribute.

That said, given your circumstances, it sounds like you're doing the best you can. I don't think it will negatively affect you, per se. I mean your chances of publication will be lower but you could work at the same lab for 2+ years and not get published either - a lot of it is luck.
