NY Peds program rank?

I was surprised by the number of peds programs in NY. Any insight on pros / cons of each peds program would be very very helpful.
Also, what is the norm for peds residents after residency? Do they go into associateship or open a practice right away?

I am not familiar with pros/cons of Peds programs.

Many pediatric dentists go into associateships right after school. The average associateship for a pediatric dentist will pay better than a GP, sometimes significantly depending on the location. Some open a practice right away, but it is relatively rare as you don't have time/money in residency to focus on opening a business.

I think Buffalo peds is the strongest in the state. Incredible PP experience and sedation education.

It depends what you are looking for. If board passage is your goal, look for a program that has a high rate. If the PD and APD are both examiners, chances are also good you will pass the boards.
