Amen to that. Fortunately it's been warmish for a day+ where I am, so a good bit is starting to melt off. There was a pretty long period though where the roads were <20mph only.

OP, best of luck getting out to the city! Us NYers find a way to get things running. 😀

My NYMC interview might get cancelled for a second time due to snow. I'm supposed to interview tomorrow morning at 8am but the school won't make any decisions till tomorrow about whether to delay/close. Now I'm left trying to decide if I should risk driving in the snow from RI to get there just incase it's not cancelled...

Ugh! That sounds terrible, I'm so sorry. I can't imaging having to cancel TWICE for snow. Be careful on the road if you do decide to drive! Can't go to med school if you're dead.

Funny- I had to reroute my flights to go straight TO Cleveland since I was supposed to fly from NY to there. Ugh this is such a headache.

There was an article in the San Francisco Chronicle this morning about how the Bay Area's having a heat wave (its around 68 degrees outside right now .. I'm unfortunately stuck at my cubicle, but that's another rant) while the rest of America is dealing with freezing weather. Guess its true!

I'm totally on board with experiencing a different place for a few years for med school, but I'm going to die if I can't get into a residency program in California

No interviews ruined for me (i am a 2nd year lol) but it did take my 2 hours and 30 mins to get to school yesterday. I had only 2 classes, first one I was late too. And the second one started at 4pm and my college announced all classes after 4pm are canceled. And it took me roughly the same time getting back, about 2 hours 15-20 mins. I almost died getting to school, and when I was about .3 miles from my house my car skidded again. But thank God nothing bad happened, I alive to tell the tale today.
