NYC Programs that fly?

This is probably pretty naive, but I was wondering if any of the NYC programs have life-flight type programs that residents can fly on? Or does the urban nature of the city preclude this?

No lifeflights that I know of. Of course, you only have to go a little ways out to get it. I have a friend from a place about 30 minutes outside of the city and she said they had lifeflight. plus, I am pretty sure that long island probably has that capability...

I don't think as yet, but they are gearing up. I think they tend to wait for Dean's letters... this is truly a whole package program... even with giganto board scores and AOA, you might no interview if your PS and your deans letters indicate you have no personality... so they wait. This program has (sadly?) gotten competitive enough that they don't even necessarily grant an interview just because you rotated here... *eek*
