Accepted with a 25 here. A new low! Hurray!mdage said:NYCOM is definitely my top choice. I have one more interview with CCOM on March 21st, which I am still thinking if i should go.
I got waitlisted by my the state schools....so If i get accepted by the state school I might not go to NYCOM, but the major reason is because of their cheaper tuition.
I saw the stat for those who got accepted to NYCOM. They all have very nice stat. I remember the posted lowest MCAT score is 27.

We have formed a contact list on AIM and via email for all of us to get to know each other, meet future roommates, study groups, and friends, and meet for social outings before school starts. I would love to add you to the list, if you decide NYCOM is where you will be! Congratulations again 🙂!

When called admissions the following Monday, to see if they would accept it and add it to my application, a woman from admission told me they sent out a letter to me on Friday. I was shocked and a little angry because in my opinion this means they made up their mind before I even got to the interview. I haven't recieved any word yet however, but do you guys/gals think that a letter being sent out so soon is a bad sign? I would have rather kept my 60 bucks.
mohammed.r said:So I got the letter from NYCOM, not really good news. They said the committee voted and I have been offered a spot at the med prep program. It is only a month long. The web site says those who complete the program successfully are accepted, but the letter says those who complete the program succcessfully are considered for acceptance for the 2006 fall year. What does that mean? Considered or in? Anyways thought maybe some of you guys can shed some light on this issue.
Sorry, I don't know what it is.mohammed.r said:hey yankee do you know anything about the medprep?
