I typed it up on a totally different sheet of paper. The personal information I filled out by hand, but the part that asks for work experience, volunteer experience, and ec's, I made a table of each one, so that the columns were like Date, Name of Activity, Description... or whatever. I stapled that to their application with my handwritten personal information on it and in the spaces provided for the information I made the table for I wrote "See Attached". Also for the why do you want to go here question, I typed it up on the page with my tables. When the lady interviewing me looked at it she said, "Wow, you are very thorough and organized, everything is very easy to find".
I got in too, so if you want to do it that way, at least you know it worked for one person. 😉
