Nice! How did they contact you, email or phone call?
And also your stats if you’d be okay with sharing

Hi, I got an interview invitation today, i applied regular decision 2 weeks ago.

I have a dumb question, how do you sign up for the interview? It stayed RSVP with the professor, how do I do that? Find the email and send him/her a email?

I emailed back the faculty member that send me the email with the dates of the interviews and let her know which interview I was able to attend.

Hi everyone. I have an interview with NYIT coming up soon. Can anyone provide me with any additional information about the interview (i.e. group interview, campus tour, how long the interview took)? Thanks and best of luck to everyone.

Also, did anyone stay at a hotel or anything of that nature for the interview? I live about 5 hours away from the interview location and am considering a hotel as an option to make sure I get to the interview on time.

I attended the interview on October 11th. When you get there they start with a presentation of the program which lasts around 30-45 minutes. then they take you on a tour of the program facilities. After the tour, you have to write an essay on questions given on that day. The questions they give do not relate to PT at all and they do not want you to write about PT. I think my interview was around 30mins but it didn't feel that long because the professor was very friendly and it just felt like a friendly conversation.

NYIT is around 45 mins from my house so I don't know much about hotels around that area.

Thank you so much, I appreciate it!
Hopefully you get accepted!

Thank you, you as well. Good luck on your interview and let me know if you have any other questions on it!

Hello!
I applied during the early decision cycle and was accepted into the program about a month ago. There was a total of 12 students selected to be interviewed on the date that I was interviewed. They gave a 30 minute presentation on the program when we all arrived. After that, they gave out those blue little essay books for the essay portion. There were 4 interviewers. They each called up a student for an interview as the others continued to write the essays. There is no time limit on the essays. Each book had two questions and you have to choose one to write about. They were all non-PT related. I am assuming they just want to learn about your personality so I don't recommend relating it to PT unless it is necessary. Once you are done with the interview, you can go back to finish/start your essay. The interview, itself, was very laid-back! It was more like a conversation than anything else. The questions were pretty much generic. They really don't want to stump you with any difficult questions. They are focused on learning about who you are and how you think. My interview was about 20 minutes. My advice is to just be relaxed through it all! Good Luck!

And...Congratulations!!!

Congratulations. How much time do they give you to decide to accept the offer?
It wasn't mentioned in the email I received. It says I will be getting the acceptance letter in the mail soon and I'm sure it'll say it there.

Hi. Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted!
I was wondering, is tuition for NYIT around 130k?
