I am making application to medical school and would like some information about NYIT and the level of difficulty in which to gain admission. I am also intersted in the university of medicine of new jersey. Does anyone have any stats or even interviewed or been accepted for the coming school year and can give some advice. NYIT is my preference! Thanks

I've been accepted at NYCOM and waitlisted at UMDNJ- both COM and at Newark. NYCOM's interviewer flat out told me that my interview was actually a "recruitment session" rather than an interview. Their class is so huge, I cant imagine them being all that picky if you look good on paper. NYCOM's facilities are a bit outdated I thought. Small library, no food around. But, their location can give such a diverse patient poulation down the road, the positives may outweigh the negatives. We'll see where I wind up...

    good luck.
