What does it take to get an interview at NYMC?? I just want to know stats like GPA and MCAT and how much research done. What is the minimum?

I have a 30Q and 3.4 undergre/3.6 grad and I got an interview a month or so ago. I have no idea what the "minimum" is thoughl

According to MSAR:
2004 Accepted Applicants had an average of 10's on all three sections and a P for writing, Overall GPA 3.51, Science GPA 3.46.
2004 total enrollment - 765
2004-2005 first year class matriculation - 185

Copy that. I was complete 8/4 and still no word. Maybe I'll ask my professor to pull some strings with her connections at NYMC.

well if it only took some people 1 month to hear something and others have been complete for almost 3 months still no word. There must be a disparity in your stats and ecs. so can people please post their numbers...this way we can figure out if nymc is only looking at superstars right now...my numbers are the same as their avgs.

wow...i did not know that...and i just realized that all my interviews are from catholic schools...georgetown, st. louis U, and NYMC...maybe they like the fact i went to a catholic high school 😛

NYMC definitely has religious affiliations. Last year, there was an article in a newspaper local to the area talking about how they wouldn't fund a LGBT organization on campus. It wasn't that big of a deal, but still noteworthy.

I didn't take it off, my entire signature comes and goes at whim. My signature has decided to just like all the medical schools I applied too 🙁

catholics think being gay is a sin and wrong and hence, dont support them.

Damn it....I went to a Catholic university and still nothing. Come on, at least send me an interview...I took four semesters of Theology for crying out loud. Who do I have to offend to get an interview around here?
