I work with admissions/tours and they said 223+. They said the current third year class had a higher one so we're anxious to see where they match next year. If you have any other questions feel free to PM me. Also just so you know, the transitional to sinai also was guaranteed a derm spot there after the year.

Thanks for posting the list buddy. What is the average USMLE score then for step 1 nationwide and how does 223 compare?

No offense to NYMC as it is probably where I am going next year but the website overall could really use alot of work. Its like the school doesnt try to sell itself at all. It has so much to offer. Case in point - the new childrens hospital right on campus which was amazing. Yet you would never know it existed if you just went on the web page. No pictures or anything. the whole web page is so bland. Beautiful campus - yet no pictures really. Campus a half hour from NYC but no pics of Manhattan to remind people how close it is. The opening homepage should be a little nicer and "seductive" also. I know its just a website but I think they could do alot more to "sell" the school on it. You have an amazing anatomy lab - yet no pictures at all (they can take it when no cadavers are in there). The matchlist not being posted yet a month after it was possible to do so is another thing. People are making decisions where to attend now and everything counts, NYMC has a great match list so why not post it so people can take it into consideration. If you dont know about this website then the list is still a mystery to most people.
People really have no idea how much the school has to offer....

No arguments here. I won't disparage our administration on an open forum, but I do have problems with how parts of our school are run.

we were told 100% matched at school, I guess you can call admissions to confirm it, but if you count up there 185 matches, and 185 kids in the class, so i believe everyone matched.

I think what the "6 people didn't match" thing is that they did not match directly, and so they had to scramble for open residency spots close to match day.
