NYMC status page

I think I remember someone saying that on the NYMC status page, they found out about an interview before they got an email. Do I remember right, or am I checking this page everyday for nothing? I guess it's just a way to waste time and make myself more nervous about the whole process, but I think i remember someone saying that they saw their interview listed there before the school contacted them.
If anyone could clear this up for me, it's be great!

the status page wasn't working too well when i checked during the fall, but i was contacted for an interview via e-mail.

I used to check every day, but still got the email notification before it was updated on the status page.
