NYMC with a 15,000 scholarship or Stony Brook at state rate? (the price difference now is negligible) I'm from the Albany, NY area. Any thoughts would be appreciated

Well obviously it depends on where you can see yourself spending 4 years of your life. But, all things being equal, you're comparing NYMC at roughly 35,000 after your scholarship to SB at roughly 35,000 as well(These are very rough, give or take 5,000 either way). However, in SB you are getting a school with amazing research and school teetering on the fence of upper-tier.
I would personally choose SB based on reputation and research possibilities.
