NYU acceptance stats

i interviewed in sept. and i still havent heard anything 3.4 Gpa and 17 DAT
u mean they received your information two weeks ago?

Holden, the reason they didn't invite you to interview until you sent them your second DAT scores was because i think their PAT cut off is a 14 or 15. I'm so upset I still didn't hear from them after interviewing in September

I am surprized you still haven't heart anything back from NYU 😕 Your stats look competitive enouph to be accepted by NYU, I think. Have you tried calling them to find out your status?

Hey DDS, Yeah I know. I called and Ms. Knowles said they have a decsision for me but they are doing their best to send them all out. And she was like thank you for being so patient. Whatever. I don't know what's going on with that school. But thanks for your concern ! =)
Bullfan I called on Wednesday but make sure you call Ms. KNowles directly because when you call the admissions office they tell you that they can't give you any info over the phone. Also, I hope that means its good. But i want ti already. LOL. Good Luck. You can im me at OOOOLEONAOOOO if you want.

If you are talking about me, i should let you and others know that being on waitlist for 2 years did not change anythinge eventhough my grades are within their range. I took my name off of waitlist, had them discard my old file, and applied as a fresh applicant this year. No news yet though (applied in Sep)..... and with what i am seeing, it looks like there will be a long time before i hear anything.

Just wanted to tell those that are being patient that Ms. Knowles told me that so far they have received over 2400 😱 applicants when I interviewed on Wednesday. Pretty incredible. Be patient 👍 because she did say the admissions office is swamped.

but i go to UC Berkeley (now the #1 school in the world) so my gpa is looked at more highly than others, well thats what they said. also my extracurriculars are crazy. but i hated NYU, it sucks. everyone i talked to there said they made the wrong decision. but you might liek it

In terms of NYU, a lot of people don't like the size and cost. However, if you liked the school, no one should tell you how to feel.
well it is #1 in the world, according to the college rankings committee and they take everything into account.

i like the city,but the school the students the administrators were all boring. the students said that they wouldnt come here again is they had a choice. and i hate the idea of having 200 students then splitting them up. you wont get to know everyone. it just felt bad there. not worth the money.

You only need a few good friends. You all have lecture together, just the lab is split up. Honestly, in lab, you really only get to know the people sitting around you so it doesn't matter that they split you up.

I sent my application in August and the schools received it by mid september BUT.... i put my apps on hold until Jan 11th. i took my DATs again in january.

sci gpa 2.7
DAT :
AA: 23 Bio: 20 GC: 29 OC: 18 TS: 20 QR: 22 RC: 24 PAT 19
tons of experience and well rounded.
honestly, what do you think are my chances now? i haven't heard anything from them since the fall!? Thanks.

why do people feel the need to justify their intelligence on this site? This is simply here to help people find out about grad school and any questions they might have. Whoever feels the need to tell everyone else about how smart they, which school they are from andhow we should all be jealous, simply has issues.
