Did any one from feb 12th batch get their acceptance letter.
 
hi there,

Even I was interviewed on Feb 12th. But didn't receive any letter from NYU as of now. This really puts me in a tensed state. Could you plz share you stats? For people who have been accepted till now, please put your stats so that it gives an idea for those waiting to hear from NYU.

got acceptence today, interveiwed on jan 22...though joinin BU, postin to let u guys know. all the best to those waiting.
p.s - first time applicant

Nbde part1 - 89
gpa- 3.64
toefl- 112
no work experience anywhere.

I guess they are sending acceptance on the basis of nbde score.. reapplicants are given prefrence,is there any one above 90 still waiting? please share,it will be helpful for others who are waiting

I guess they are sending acceptance depending on ECE😱

No I dont think its acc to ECE dent org..i have 3.82 and 84% NBDE but not even an interview call yet 🙁
Its all fate and luck. Hopefully we will get in somwhere someday too 🙂

yep i have two years of clinical experience.But ur stats r gud.score of nbde 87 should have very gud chance at NYU.

hi, i dont know why they have waitlisted me.prabably too many indians have applied this year and is this a factor?i was interviewed on 17th jan and my interview was done well by EUGENIA,IAM IN DILEMMA TO PREPARE FOR STEP 2 OR WAIT FOR NYUUCD CALL
 
Got acceptance from NYU. Letter dated for 7 march, Was posted on 8 march. I was interviewd on 19 Feb.
 
congrats to all who got acceptance letters n good luck to ones who r waiting...i informed NYU that m not coming as m going to some other school...i hope it helps people who r waiting..good luck frnds!

Hi all,
I am in a different situation now!
I received the acceptance letter from NYU on March 8 and I sent the initial deposit of $2500 on March 10 via USPS priority mail. I did receive the confirmation e-mail from USPS saying that the mail is been delivered on March 12th at 11 AM.
However, I have been calling NYU but they say that they haven't received my deposit till today.
They have asked me to wait for a couple of days and if they still don't receive it I have to resend the check!

Has anyone received the package from them already?
What is the next step?

well guys.. i just called nyu... they have recieved my check... nd they say they have not yet started sending the remaining documents nd forms or whatever -- i guess its called the admission packet...so gotta wait for a while now... anybody else got any info do share...
 
hey anybody got any info of the immunization stuff.. pls do share... how to go about it nd is it a requirement or could it be done while we r in NYUCD... do share

Hi adiwana:🙂.congrats on ur acc.letter..i got mine on the 4th...mailed out a USPS express the next day...but mine did'nt get into the school's system till the 11th of March...what hapenes is that ONLY the couriers go to the Dental School Admin only (the office where we went for the interview)..but the regular mail services like USPS (regardless express or priority) go to the actual NYU MainCampus in downtown and then from there it gets distributed by the NYU's own mail service...and then once it gets to school they take 1-2 days putting it in the system.....i know all this because i just went thru a carzy turmoil when i heard the same reply as u did..and i was just after them...but it will get in..dont worry..just be on it🙂

Do we have to wait for the admission packet to apply for student loan? (AP DDS Student - class of 2011)
Or is it too early to apply for private/any other kind of student loan?

yeah we have to wait for the package for loans.in the package there will be whole knowledge that how much we need..but if someone is permanent resident or citizen he should have apply for fafsa now....
 
[hello everyone I am waiting also I was acepted before I reaply BUT I was in the feb last week interview the interview was fine but when I called them they told me they are revised the aplication late how more I should wait,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,va as far as the waiting list they are in they will get aceptance letter in agoust that happen to me all the best for the rest

hi can i know what are the chances of getting admission for waitlisted candidates,when did u get ur acceptance letter
 
let me tell u something if u re a permanent resident and u want to apply for federal loans u had to apply before ,call tomorrow financial aid office because i think u re due for filling out a fafsa now .maybe they can give some advise of what to do.this is only for pemanent residents and citizens not students in visa status and not for students who are going to borrow a private loan.

hi everyone congratulations to those who got their acceptances. I am in trouble, can anyone tell me if they have'nt got their original degree yet. i went to NYU college of dentistry today to ask about my application status as i did'nt get any interview call from them till now.there was a guy at the addmission's office who told me that my application has been held b'coz i dont have my degree.but i have provided my provisional certificate and a written request from my university registrar that provisional shall be considered as the original till i get my original degree.. but unfortunately they dont accept it.i dont know what to do now.. has anyone got into a situation like this?? any suggestions please??

any advice would be of great help.
