I'm also waiting to hear from them.I interviewed in the first week of Feb. and I loved the school so I'm praying for a positive response.

Thats really sad....🙁🙁..i mean u have great stats...what went wrong?How was your i/v?

My interview was good.I have 2yr exp inIndia.One yr In North america. Paper presentation, research work etc.

Woaa....everything seems so perfect...i mean your work experience and all....dont mind but can i ask when did you gradute?also was there any lapse or sometime when you were not in touch with dentistry?The reason i ask so is bcoz i graduated in 2002 and have 3yrs work experience in india but have not worked for the last 2 yrs...so just trying to figure out can that be a problem😕🙄

don't loose courage I think they put you on waitlist they not refused you

they are doing this because most student with good state don't accept admission at nyu
and thay are still waiting for 2 year program and with less fee too

they must be thinking that you will not accept admission so after all the other school will finish their admission procedure nyu will give you acceptance


remember you don't get rejection but you are in waitlist


so be positive you will definately make it

I can assure you that you will definately get accepted.They have waitlisted u because it is obvious to them that u would have got acccepted at BU. this is becoz they have expereinced this in the past that any student with 90+ and toefl 100+, definately gets accepted at BU.so they just dont wnat to receive a reject from you...that will decrease their yield(yield is the ratio of number of students that were offered admissions to the number of students who accepted that offer).ever school has to publish their yield percentage to dental board, and their ranking depends on that.therefore they are being very careful.wait for a little while, keep calling them to show u r interested and this will be fine.Also all my friends who were waitlisted last year, got accepted later on.
also, can u tell me when were u interviewed.

i got letter from NYU today stating that i m waitlisted..... my stats are 84/2.72/110 ( NBDE 1/GPA/TOEFL)..... anyone else whose in the same boat.....
