Does anyone know what NYU's philosophy is towards international health (i.e. are there opportunities to study developing world health while a med student)

I'm pretty sure you can go abroad if you wish, either for clinical or research exposure. I would definately contact them to make sure they have the programs you're looking for.

I'll be interviewing there this week, and I wanted to know ahead of time if they encourage pursuing international health as a career path. I couldn't find anything on their website and haven't come up with any research by their faculty.

Certainly, I will ask while there - just wanted to know ahead of time.
