BU - no. I hear the students have to go out searching for patients like find them in the trains, parks, anywhere, etc.
Buffalo - It's a really good dental school, and small and in-state I believe, but it's in upstate ny, and cold, nothing to do.
NYU - hella expensive, but it's a GREAT program, 100% board pass rate, strong clinicals, etc. and it's in NYC, and really well-known everywhere. however, large class size, and again. expensive.
do u live in NY? then buffalo all the way. Its NY's 2nd biggest city...there's plenty to do, yes its cold but wouldn't you rather have snow then miserable icy rain slush in NYC?

Definitely false about BU students having to find patients. I would pick between BU or NYU, both are strong academically and clinically so it's your pick on which city you'd rather live in.
If a NY resident, i would without a doubt pick buffalo. Even then, since buffalo gives instate residency after one year (almost positive about this?), buffalo still would be a good choice. The smart financial choice.
How does a city with NFL & NHL sports, a great lake, hills to the south good enough for skiing, beautiful national parks and located 2hrs from the largest metropolitan area in Canada have nothing to do?
