I was looking at NYU's requirements and one thing that stood out was the GPA requirement.

" 1. All candidates applying for admission to New York University College of Dentistry must meet the minimum requirements as follows:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian college or university, including all prerequisite courses, DAT, and GPA of 3.1 or higher or a GPA of 3.5 at an accredited college or university from the U.S. or Canada, with 90 credits including all prerequisite courses."

Which means that you have to have a minimum GPA of 3.1?

Very interesting...

Edit: I stand corrected. They boast an average GPA of 3.29 😵... how did it go up so fast? .. shoot....

their gpa requirement is going higher and higher. They are getting too many apps thesedays. *sigh*

nyu really went for the high gpa students this year, getting them interviewed early and accepting them early with a short time frame for putting down a 1500$ deposit. becasue of this, many students probably commited to them preemptively

my gf got in and she was contacted 1 week after her aadsas application was finished. she had a 3.6 biochem gpa (ucla) and 20TS,21AA,18PAT DAT score.

she said her interview was real chill, but also that her friend's interviewer made her cry.

also, i think they are not super strict on their gpa requirement as people with lower gpas get in for sure.
