what is the average GPA of a person admitted into the NYU school of social work? what do they look for in an applicant? is their anything that can give me an edge? I looked on their website but they didn't really have a specifics.

If it's not on their website, then I suggest you call admissions and ask. Perhaps they have a brochure, or could even meet with you prior to submitting your application.
